Ladies Section
The Ladies Section was founded in 1927 with 14 playing members and a fee of 10/6d per annum
The curremt membership for 2011 is 41 playing Lady Members. 10 Restricted Members and 2 Honorary Members with the current fee being £84.There is still room for many more members and there is an introductory fee of £30 for this season.
Ladies Club competitions consist of a league played on a Monday afternoon during the summer, a Championship singles competition plus two other singles competitions, 3 pairs competitions, 1 Triples and 1 Fours competitions. There are also 4 Mixed competitions and a mixed league played on a Friday afternoon. There are also 19 Ladies friendly games and 4 mixed games with other clubs. There is also an Invitation Day to which Lady members invite a guest to a friendly game of bowls and afternoon tea.
Ladies can also enter competitions run by the Scottish Women's Bowling Association, Angus and Perthshire Ladies Bowling Association, East of Scotland Women's Bowling Association and the Tayside Ladies Bowling Association.
During the winter months, the Ladies meet on a Monday afternoon to play whist,dominoes and carpet bowls. There is also a mixed carpet bowls league which is played on a Friday afternoon
